You are invited to attend the inaugural International Sports Science Symposium on Performance Enhancement and Technology will be held at the University of Oregon (UO) in Eugene, OR, July 18-21, 2014, just prior to the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Junior Track and Field Championships, which are scheduled at UO’s Hayward Field from July 22-26, 2014. The symposium is expected to draw 250 attendees from around the world, brought together to encourage a dialogue about best practices in sports performance and technology.

This symposium, hosted by the Bowerman Sports Science Clinic of the UO Department of Human Physiology, will bring together experts from the international sports science community to present cutting edge research and conduct panel discussions on the application of science in today’s competitive sports environment. This symposium is aimed at researchers, scientists, and individuals who are interested in enhancing their knowledge in the areas of Performance Enhancement, Adaptive Technology and Sport, Environmental Physiology, and Drugs and Sport.

Symposium attendees also interested in the IAAF World Junior Track and Field Championships will be offered a 50% discount off tickets.

We are pleased to announce that up to 12.5 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits will be offered through our partner, Oregon Health & Science University, during the 2014 International Sports Science Symposium.
