You are invited to attend the International Sports Science Symposium on Performance Enhancement and Technology. The 2nd biannual meeting will be held at the University of Oregon (UO) in Eugene, OR, spring of 2016. Important dates and times will be announced in the fall prior to the meeting. The symposium is expected to draw 250 attendees from around the world, brought together to encourage a dialogue about best practices in sports performance and technology.
This symposium, hosted by the Bowerman Sports Science Clinic of the UO Department of Human Physiology, will bring together experts from the international sports science community to present cutting edge research and conduct panel discussions on the application of science in today’s competitive sports environment. This symposium is aimed at researchers, scientists, and individuals who are interested in enhancing their knowledge in the areas of Performance Enhancement, Adaptive Technology and Sport, Environmental Physiology, and Drugs and Sport.
We are pleased that up to 12.5 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits were offered through our partner, Oregon Health & Science University, during the 2014 International Sports Science Symposium, and we hope we can continue offering this in future symposiums.
